Architect / Urban Designer
I have large experience in the urban design field and the architectural field as well, in several regions as Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa, during the last year I have been developing fix term contracts as urban designer for companies like Perkins + Will or AECOM in large urban design masterplans, meanwhile I was finishing my PhD thesis and preparing my thesis viva, which I presented the last September obtaining a 9 over 10.
This Urban studies PhD is born from my interest in the urban design field and the parametric approach to it, due to that I prepared my research plan based on parametric urban design, urban data mapping and urban regeneration process related to the tourist industry. The thesis topic is a method to create urban regeneration process by the use of a Top-Down / Bottom-up strategy. This Bottom-up part is mainly the use of the grasshopper and a Multiple Objective Evolutive Algorithm for the generation of the urban regeneration project.
I would describe my self as a hardworking person, open-minded, friendly and responsible, a person who like to take challenges and responsibilities and on top of that in love with the urban design and the social consequences of our work, about my skills I would say that I am expert in 3D and parametric urban design thanks to my knowledge in Rhino and Grasshopper, also I have knowledge in GIS, Autocad and Microstation.
