I help a little bit, a friend with her Master degree dissertation. In this case I help her with the implementation of the grasshopper definition.
The shape of the project, starts with the pedestrian fluxes ensuring the continuity of the public space through the project roof. The different programs on the building identify the different areas, and allow a topography that plays between the dunes and the pedestrian paths, combining both uses, private and public on the project.
The structure calculation, its made by the use of grasshopper and milipede, calculating and arc structure in the whole project formalized in a concrete slab over a struss grid. both struss and slab has been re-parametrized looking for material optimization.
